Brenda Rowlands
Industry Background: Brenda is CIPD qualified and has spent 15 years working in HR Management in the IT, Pharmaceutical and Hospitality sectors. In her last HR role as a Business Partner, she gained an insight into business planning and strategy to compliment the more generalist HR roles previously held. Brenda joined HRi in 2005 to further expand her career by specialising in a resourcing environment.
Most passionate about: Receiving a good level of customer service - whether I am in a business meeting, shopping or out for a meal when I receive service which gives me an overall good "experience" I make sure that I let them know - I just wish I felt that excitement more often!
Favourite Movies/Books: 5 People You Meet Before You Die (the only book that made me cry!), Thornbirds and Night Manager.
Movies: Casablanca, Kellys Heroes and Top Gun.
Favourite Food: On sophisticated days - saute of foie gras followed by isla flotante (floating islands pudding), and when I am back in student mode - fish finger sandwiches (with tomato ketchup of course!).
One thing in the world to change: Give everyone a chance to prove their worth before prejudging them.
